Advocate for
Millbrae Residents

I organized alongside neighbors and families to stop the county's plan to turn La Quinta into permanent supportive housing — a proposal that would have cost the city $1M a year and brought drug activity within a block of Lomita Park Elementary.

That fight taught me how essential it is for elected officials to actually listen to residents — and how much an engaged community can accomplish when it stands together.

Working for Millbrae through Collaborations

As chair of the 2026 Art & Wine Festival, I coordinated across the City Manager's office, Recreation Department, Public Works, Sheriff and Fire Departments, CERT, vendors, volunteers, and more to bring this largest community event in Millbrae to life.

Along with my colleagues in the Executive Committee, we revitalized the event: free participation for local merchants, redesigned vendor footprint to give local merchants better visibility, a new petting zoo zone, a live artist and DJ zone, expanded seating area, and free shuttle service for accessibility.

The result was record attendance and strong community praise.

Albert represents the very best of Millbrae. Serving on the board of local non-profits including Millbrae Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club of Millbrae, his connection to our neighborhoods is built on genuine engagement and shared history.

With a Bachelor's in Actuarial Science from Purdue and a Master's in Technology Management from Columbia, Albert brings the financial rigor City Hall needs. As a leader in opposing La Quinta and in the recall campaign, he has consistently fought for fiscal responsibility and transparent, resident-first governance.

Guided by integrity, resilience, and compassion, Albert believes that a city council member is first and foremost a listener. His goal is to ensure every voice in District 4 is heard and respected in our local government.

My family and I chose to make Millbrae our home because of its safe neighborhoods, excellent schools, and welcoming community. As a father, supporter of local businesses, and first-generation immigrant, I'm running for City Council because I believe Millbrae’s future should be shaped by residents — not outside interests.
