Responsible Development for Millbrae
Millbrae is going through a lot of changes in our urban planning.
As your councilmember, I will focus on balancing development with our infrastructure limitation and the quality of life for our residents.
Public Safety
Safety in Millbrae means seniors feeling safe walking to the grocery store, and kids getting to school without dodging speeding cars on narrow residential streets. We've seen the cost of inaction firsthand, including a fatal accident on Richmond Drive this year. I'll push for real traffic enforcement, work with our Sheriff's Department to keep response times fast, and support programs that look out for our seniors and kids — because that's what a safe, connected community actually looks like.
Care for our Elderly
Growing older shouldn't mean growing more alone. I hear this from Millbrae seniors all the time — not being able to drive to the grocery store or a doctor's appointment, missing out because a sidewalk isn't safe to walk on, or just not being able to get to the community center anymore. I'll fight to invest in our senior programs and make sure getting around Millbrae — on foot, by shuttle, however — actually works for people who've spent their whole lives here.
Economic Revitalization
I am committed to bring a variety of new merchants to Millbrae - to make our downtown more interesting and inviting, so that residents will want to stay and spend in Millbrae.  It will stimulate local economy and increase tax revenue for the city, so that we can allocate more resources to critical infrastructure improvement.
Infrastructure Modernization
To build a connected community, we must upgrade our roads, utilities, and transportation. I aim to focus on policies that relieve traffic and parking congestion, with a long-term commitment to fix drainage problems that exist in Millbrae.
